Hello everybody
I don't know if this is the right place to ask for this question, but right now one of my friend told me that there is the need to have a license to come and fly RC models in your country.
Is it really like this?

Thanks
Pietro

No. No license needed. You need insurance and permisson from the field owner.
I advise contacting local club to get familiar with local conditions.

Happy flying.

Hello
Thanks for your reply.
Of course I have a special insurance for RC activity.
But usually I go flying on free spaces, like Vremščica And Črnotiče, or At List I Hope They are free.
so in this case only insurance is required?
Bye
pietro

I think this should be sufficient for flying in the fields that are not in use of some local club. In any case you need to know and agree with local/field regulations (where to park the car, how to fly, check the RC channels if needed, get in touch with others, announce take off and landing, restricted flying zone, ...).

Have fun flying in Slovenia :)

Best regards,
Jure

Thanks everybody
Of course those are good practice when you go flying in any place with RC models.
Here in Italy it's not mandatory to have insurance, by you in Slovenia it is obligatory as I well understand?
Right now the government wrote a rule, you don't need an insurance but if you go fly in populated places near people/houses/roads and a police man find you, he can send you in prison for 3 monts...(stupid people)

So be carefull if you come to Italy with your flying pet :D
