Nice!
I saw very similar pulse-jet model maybe more than 25 years ago in Ajdovscina! It was Italian origin.

Can you describe the model in more detail? How it is made (type of construction.. composite..styro balsa sandwich...metal?) and what rc equipment is installed (I am interested in servo torque for such model). Some more photos of the model would be also fine to see.

Regards!

Ciao Mitja.
The model is the "famous" Sagittario from Zanin (Z-Model Italy).
Fuselage is in fiberglass, wings and tail is in styro+balsa.
The model is basically the original kit from Zanin, but with some upgrades: gear doors for the retracts, carbon fiber reinforcements on fuselage, wings and tail.
Wings has a lower profile (-15%) and the wingspan of the tail is shortened (-10%).
Weight of the model ready to fly is 4,8Kg and 6,0Kg with fuel. (unfortunately I have 200gr of lead in the nose).

The Powerplant is assured by a Jeti Max Bec at 5,5Volt.
On elevator (1) I use Hitec HS-5645MG, on ailerons (2) and rudder (1) Hitec HS-5245MG.
For the steering wheel (1) and turn-off the engine (1) Hitec HS-85MG.
Receiver Multiplex RX-9 DR M-Link.

Air Retracts and legs are full homemade in ergal.
I use Festo fittings and Jet Tronics valve.

Engine is homemade, the design is based on the Zanin (Z-Jet) pulsejets, but is 15% bigger.
Head is fully machined with lathe and mill from Ergal, Tube is point welded in 0,4mm inox.
The thrust is about 5,5Kg, fuel consumption is about 500cc/min.
The fuel is a "mix" of 60% gasoline and 40% kerosene.

Top speed without wind, about 280Km/h.
